The natural hemp used to make these curtains is grown without pesticides and processed without toxic chemicals, chlorine, defoliants, or any other nasty materials. Hand-sewn in Pennsylvania. Long-lasting and beautiful.

Hemp Facts
The hemp fabric, which is naturally UV-resistant, has always been legendary for its strength and wear/tear resistance. Up until the turn of the century (before synthetics) hemp was the fiber of choice for seafarers and outdoors people around the planet. At one time, 95% of the world's ship sails were made from hemp canvas, because the material stands up with ease to years and years of constant exposure to salt, water, air, sun, and rough use.

Care Info
Curtains are shipped oversized and will shrink to size after first washing.
Machine wash monthly. Use: gentle cycle, warm water, with a mild laundry detergent.
Hang to dry (do NOT place in dryer).
